A Soviet artillery shell (76 mm calibre) dating from World War II was found by an employee of a company resurfacing the parking lot at the square behind Chumed (al. 1000-lecia). He notified his supervisor, who called the police. The police then informed the military.

Bomb disposal experts from Bomb Disposal Patrol No. 23 checked the site using their detectors. No other dangerous shells were found. It was not necessary to evacuate people from the nearby buildings.

The soldiers took away the unexploded ordnance and detonated it at a training ground.
