A tragedy occurred in Łaziska near Bolesławiec (Bolesławiec municipality). The murdered man, a 55-year-old resident of the village, was found by an acquaintance. The deceased was lying in a bathtub with neck injuries. He was murdered with a sharp instrument. Investigators are examining the case.
It is already known that the murder must have occurred recently. The man was seen—whole and healthy—just two days earlier.
This was not the only tragedy to occur in Łaziska that weekend. On Friday, May 5, the body of a 45-year-old man was found in a roadside ditch. He also had neck injuries, but in his case the prosecutor’s office initially ruled out the involvement of third parties. Investigators emphasize that the two cases should not be linked.
