Due to the great interest in the “Check your penalty points” e-service, scammers are impersonating the official website of the Ministry of Digital Affairs in an attempt to illegally obtain our data and money.
To check penalty points electronically, you only need a Trusted Profile (eGO), and the only website through which drivers can check their points is Obywatel.gov.pl. The service does not require the disclosure of any personal data.
Any other websites that “offer” alleged information about the status of penalty points in exchange for providing some data or making a payment should be treated with great caution—they may be an attempt to extort data or money.
