Officers from Police Station I in Jelenia Góra detained a 23-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra suspected of thefts. As the officers determined, the perpetrator robbed three cosmetics and clothing stores. On two occasions, taking advantage of the sales assistants’ inattention, he hid cosmetics under his clothes and carried them out without paying.
He acted similarly in a clothing store. In total, the 23-year-old stole property worth approximately PLN 4,000, which he sold to random people.
What is more, it came to light that in February the suspect stole a payment card from another resident of Jelenia Góra and used it 28 times, reducing the victim’s account balance by approximately PLN 1,200.
The 23-year-old now faces up to 10 years in prison.
