On March 25, at around 4:00 p.m., officers from the Legnica traffic police noticed a man riding a moped across the entire width of the street, almost hitting the curbs. The officers stopped the 45-year-old resident of Legnica for inspection.
It turned out that the moped rider was completely drunk, with more than 2.6 per mille of alcohol in his system.
The scooter rider now faces up to two years in prison.
