Officers from the Property Crime Department of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica identified and then detained a 38-year-old man suspected of numerous property-related crimes. During a search of the property belonging to the 38-year-old in Legnica County, police found, among other things, mountain bikes and a capacitor nail welder. The items in question came from theft.
It was established that in March, the detained 38-year-old, together with other individuals, broke into a bicycle storage room in Legnica and stole two mountain bikes worth nearly PLN 3,500. Meanwhile, the capacitor nail welder recovered by police came from a break-in at a Fiat vehicle, which took place on 8 March in the municipality of Miłkowice.
The case is developing, and officers do not rule out further arrests. The detained 38-year-old will now stand trial for his actions; he faces up to 10 years in prison.
