Officers from the Criminal Division of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters received information that a 21-year-old man was growing cannabis at home. The officers’ suspicions were confirmed. In the 21-year-old’s apartment, they found several cannabis seedlings at various stages of development. The largest were almost one metre tall.
The police secured the cannabis plants and other items used for cultivation. The 21-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into police custody. Moreover, it turned out that the man had previously been convicted of possessing narcotic substances.
The officers are currently investigating the circumstances of the case. The man from Bolesławiec may face up to three years in prison.
