The arrest took place during the night of March 18–19, shortly before midnight. Officers from the Legnica traffic police stopped the driver of a Ford car for a road check. The 21-year-old man was behaving very nervously, so the officers tested him with a drug tester. It turned out that the 21-year-old was driving under the influence of drugs. The resident of Legnica was taken to hospital, where blood was drawn for testing.
What is more, the detainee violated a court-imposed driving ban. He now faces up to three years in prison.
