Law enforcement officers from the Criminal Division of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters arrested a man who had repeatedly committed burglaries in Bolesławiec County. The 22-year-old was wanted by the court. The man was arrested after Bolesławiec police received a report of a break-in at a commercial pavilion at a marketplace, where textile goods were stolen. The evidence collected left no doubt, and officers arrested the perpetrator just one day after the break-in. The man is a resident of Bolesławiec County. The 22-year-old was charged with burglary, for which he faces a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
It turned out that he had also committed other similar offenses. In total, he admitted to 10 burglaries in the city of Bolesławiec. He took practically everything within reach, including leather goods and banknotes in foreign currencies. The incidents had been taking place since the beginning of 2017. In addition, the man was wanted by the court to serve a prison sentence for numerous crimes and misdemeanors. He is now being held in pre-trial detention while awaiting further sentences.
