Three men aged between 19 and 27 have been taken into police custody. Officers established that, using forged documents confirming employment and income, the perpetrators wanted to defraud one of the telecommunications operators of a laptop and mobile phones. Thanks to the actions of officers from the Economic Crime Division of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica, the crime was not completed.
Moreover, at the home of the oldest detainee, police found methamphetamine and other forged certificates that were intended to be used to commit further crimes.
All three are under police supervision. They face up to 8 years in prison.
