On Monday, March 6, officers from the Police Station in Zawidów conducted operations in the Sulików commune. In the village of Studniska Górne, the officers’ attention was drawn to a passenger-car driver whose manner of driving led them to suspect that he was not sober. The test confirmed the officers’ suspicions—the 53-year-old resident of Studniska Dolne had nearly 2 per mille of alcohol in his breath.

The detained man now faces up to two years in prison, heavy fines, and even a lifetime driving ban.
