The incident occurred at the end of February in Bolesławiec County. The 34-year-old homeless man took an interest in a building divided into two apartments. He broke into one of them, stealing, among other things, electronic equipment, household items and gold. The total value was nearly PLN 2,200.
In the second apartment, he damaged the window frame and... decided to live there temporarily. The building manager, who was repairing the damaged property, noticed the homeless man there. The man honestly told him everything.
Police officers from the station in Kruszyn arrived at the scene. As it turned out, the suspect had 86 portions of marijuana on him. The officers recovered some of the stolen property.
The 34-year-old now faces up to 10 years in prison.
