Zgorzelec police officers checked nearly 80 vehicles. It turned out that 46 drivers were travelling too fast; all of them were issued penalty fines. In addition, one driver lost his driving licence. The man was speeding at 127 km/h in an area where the speed limit was 60 km/h.
