On the night of October 14–15, police officers received a report of a break-in at a clothing boutique in Nowogrodziec. When the patrol arrived at the scene, the officers noticed two young men who began to flee when they saw the police. The officers quickly apprehended the suspects.
As it turned out, the burglars, aged 18 and 19, are residents of the Nowogrodziec municipality. They were intoxicated at the time of their arrest. What is more, three portions of marijuana were found on the 18-year-old. According to investigators, the men stole, among other things, 14 pairs of earrings and clothing. The police recovered the stolen property.
The two residents of the Nowogrodziec municipality face up to 10 years in prison, while the 18-year-old will additionally be held responsible for possession of narcotic substances.
