The arrests took place on Tuesday, February 21, during the night. At 3:20 a.m., Legnica police officers received information that two men were damaging vehicles parked along one of the streets in the city center. As they walked down the street, the vandals wrecked everything that got in their way. They tore off mirrors and took out their anger on the bodywork. When they spotted the officers, they began to flee. They ran into one of the buildings and... smashed a window in the stairwell.
The perpetrators turned out to be two 31-year-old residents of Legnica. Both had nearly 2 per mille of alcohol in their systems. They now face up to five years in prison.
