A 68-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality notified the police that her cohabiting partner had started an altercation and was physically abusing her. The man was arrested. He was drunk at the time of his arrest. The injured woman was taken to hospital, where she received medical assistance. Fortunately, she did not suffer any more serious injuries.
As officers from Kruszyn established, the 68-year-old woman had been a victim of physical and psychological abuse for many years. At the request of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec, the court placed the aggressor in temporary detention for three months. The 69-year-old from Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality faces up to 5 years in prison.
