The change is the result of new regulations coming into force. Money from cemetery fees is to go to the municipality, rather than to a municipal company such as the Municipal Communal Services Management Establishment. Therefore, administration of the Bolesławiec cemetery will be transferred to a budgetary unit of the City of Bolesławiec—the Municipal Housing Management Establishment, or more precisely, a new organizational unit called the “cemetery administrator.”

Furthermore, the “Alfa” Funeral Services Establishment, operated by MZGK, is to cease operations in April. But president Władysław Bakalarz announces that none of Alfa’s employees will lose their jobs.

Will all this mean that administrative fees at the Bolesławiec cemetery will be lower? (We wrote about the fact that they are very high in the article How much does a funeral cost in Bolesławiec? And why is it so expensive?). We will return to the subject.
