National Defence Minister Antoni Macierewicz is scheduled to visit Bolesławiec on Sunday, February 5. He will meet with the city and county authorities and military personnel. The ceremony with the minister’s participation will take place at Piłsudski Square at 11:00. Meanwhile, a military picnic will be held in Bolesławiec’s Market Square from 10:00 to 17:00. The programme will include, among other things, displays of American and Polish military equipment.
The last time Antoni Macierewicz visited Bolesławiec was in July 2012. At that time, he spoke about the investigation into the Smolensk air disaster. To this day, although PiS has been in power for several months, nothing new has been presented concerning the disaster.
