On Tuesday, January 10, at approximately 2:30 p.m., officers stopped an Opel for a roadside check in Miłkowice. It emerged that the 35-year-old resident of Chojnów municipality was subject to an active ban on driving all motor vehicles, in force until August 2017.
That same day, at 9:00 p.m., police officers from the Prevention Unit of the Police Station in Chojnów stopped a Mitsubishi for a roadside check on Sikorskiego Street. After checking the vehicle's 25-year-old driver, it turned out that the young resident of Chojnów had also violated a court-imposed ban.
The court will decide the further fate of both men. The harshest punishment they may face is three years in prison.
