The incident occurred on Wednesday, 4 January, in Pławna (Lwówek County). The truck driver probably skidded and overturned the vehicle, spilling the sand it was carrying. The driver was injured and taken to hospital.
– Disruptions on this road may last a while because, first, the vehicle will have to be put back on its wheels and, second, the sand will need to be cleared – Mateusz Królak, spokesperson for the Lwówek police, told us before 12:00.
