– I attended the Miner’s Day celebrations at the Mechanical Schools Complex in Bolesławiec and was greatly impressed – County Head Karol Stasik said during the December session of the Bolesławiec County Council. – “Mechanik” is a school that is ahead of its time and anticipates needs. In the next few years, we expect copper ore mining to resume in the Bolesławiec area, and the headmaster is already preparing the workforce.

Adam Maksymczyk was awarded a mining rank. He became a second-degree mining director. – This would have been impossible without the decision of the previous Bolesławiec County Board, and above all County Head Dariusz Kwaśniewski and department head Alicja Krzyszczak – the head of ZSM stressed.

Negotiations between the management of “Mechanik” and KGHM lasted a year. Adam Maksymczyk met with representatives of the company seven times. The Mining Technical School class was opened at the Mechanical Schools Complex in September 2012.
