The incident took place on Sunday, December 11. Officers from the Zgorzelec traffic police noticed the driver of a passenger car. He was driving in such a way that the officers began to suspect he was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. As it turned out, the police officers’ suspicions were confirmed. The 33-year-old resident of Zgorzelec had almost 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. He now faces up to two years behind bars.
