Another driver who exceeded the speed limit by more than 50 km/h in a built-up area has been caught by Legnica police. This time, he was a 21-year-old resident of Kunice municipality, who was driving at 105 km/h in a built-up area.
Let us recall: one of the regulations in force since last year states that a driver who exceeds the speed limit by more than 50 km/h in a built-up area loses their driving licence for three months. During a speed check carried out in Miłkowice municipality, officers “located” the driver of a Mercedes who had 105 km/h on the speedometer, thereby exceeding the permitted speed by 55 km/h. The man was fined PLN 500 and received 10 penalty points. Soon, the starosta will also issue a decision under which the 21-year-old resident of Kunice municipality will lose his driving licence for three months.
