Jelenia Góra police determined that a 20-year-old man with no permanent place of residence is suspected of numerous property crimes. The young man broke into and robbed utility rooms, basements, cars and shops. At the beginning of December, he broke into and robbed a grocery store, taking property worth nearly PLN 3,000. The stolen items included alcohol, cigarettes and cash.
Earlier, during the night of November 27–28, he broke into a pizzeria and stole drinks and money. What is more, he tried to break in there again the following night, but the owner scared him off. The 20-year-old is also accused of stealing two surveillance cameras, worth more than PLN 1,000.
In total, the suspect committed dozens of crimes of this type between January and December. By court decision, he was temporarily detained for two months. He could face up to 10 years in prison.
