Police officers from the Economic Crime Division of the Zgorzelec District Police Headquarters detained three men suspected of attempting to defraud one of the banks of a loan worth more than PLN 90,000. The suspects used forged documents intended to prove their creditworthiness.
The police detained the 35-, 44- and 53-year-old men at the bank before the agreed amount was paid out. All three were charged with attempted fraud. The three suspects face up to eight years in prison.
