The incident occurred on 23 August in Legnica. In the morning, the minor victim was waiting for a hair salon to open. Two young men then approached her. They were the accused and his underage accomplice. Both perpetrators took out knives and, threatening to kill the girl, demanded that she hand over all her valuables. They held their knives near her carotid artery, heart and abdomen.

Rendered defenseless and frightened in this way, the girl took a mobile phone worth 600 złoty and a 10-złoty banknote from her pocket. The perpetrators tore the stolen items from her hands. The girl began calling for help. The accused, Wojciech Cz., then covered her mouth with his hand, held a knife to her neck and ordered her to be quiet.

What is more, while fleeing the scene with the phone and money, the accused continued to threaten the girl with the knife.

When the victim ran home, she told her mother what had happened, and her mother notified the police. The prosecutor managed to obtain evidence, including surveillance footage from the scene, which recorded the attackers’ images. This made it possible to apprehend them.

The day after the robbery, Wojciech Cz. was arrested and then, at the prosecutor’s request, temporarily detained by the District Court in Legnica. The teenager could face up to 15 years in prison.
