Legnica police worked on reports concerning brazen thefts at the hospital. On one occasion, the perpetrator stole a wallet containing bank cards, and on another, a computer monitor. After these thefts, the man committed further crimes—after bypassing security measures, he used the stolen bank cards four times to withdraw a total of PLN 1,850 from bank accounts.

Police officers from the Department for Combating Crimes Against Property identified the young man in surveillance footage. His arrest was only a matter of time. The 21-year-old, who has already been arrested by the police, faces a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
