Police officers from the station in Bogatynia determined that methamphetamine, a highly addictive drug, was being produced in one of the localities. The officers located the production site and arrested three people: two Czech citizens—a 22-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man—and a 33-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County.

While searching the buildings on the 33-year-old man's property, police officers discovered a small laboratory for producing methamphetamine. The officers secured equipment, chemical reagents and components used to manufacture drugs. It was established that, using this production line, the suspects had produced... more than one thousand doses of the drug in just one month.

The three suspects could face up to 15 years in prison.
