Before the collision, a lorry driver lost control of the vehicle and drove into a ditch. The cargo was being transferred to another lorry. The area was secured by the services; it was also properly lit and marked.
The collision was caused by a 24-year-old man from Wrocław, the driver of a Renault Master, who, as he admitted himself, dozed off at the wheel. The 24-year-old’s vehicle hit another Renault Master belonging to road workers. That vehicle then hit a BMW, and the BMW hit a Volkswagen Golf. Fortunately, there was no one in these vehicles, so no one was injured. The man from Wrocław was fined PLN 500.
