Police officers from the Municipal Police Headquarters’ Traffic Department received information about a truck being driven suspiciously along national road No. 94. On Spokojna Street in Legnica, officers stopped a 46-year-old driver who had damaged a street lamp and road signs moments earlier.
The man admitted causing the collision and drinking alcohol that morning. The test showed almost 3.5 per mille. The 46-year-old Tatra driver now faces up to two years in prison.
