A tragic accident occurred in the evening of November 9. A 35-year-old resident of Olszyna, riding a Romet moped, was leaving a minor road. He failed to yield the right of way to the driver of a Mercedes passenger car. As a result of the collision, the 35-year-old died at the scene. The body was taken to the morgue of the Łużyckie Medical Center in Lubań, while the vehicles were secured in a guarded parking lot. It was established that the Mercedes driver was sober. The Lubań County Police Headquarters is investigating the cause of the tragedy.
