Bolesławiec and Lwówek Śląski police officers arrested a resident of Lwówek Śląski on 4 October. The man was suspected of carrying out a brutal attack on a woman—the owner of the Credit Centre on Zgorzelecka Street. The 22-year-old beat the woman and stabbed her with a knife. The victim is recovering after a difficult operation. Below, we present video footage shared by the Bolesławiec police.
The attacker pleaded guilty. The young man is unemployed. He had previously been convicted of burglaries and thefts. He was charged with attempted murder and assault with a dangerous weapon. The resident of Lwówek Śląski faces between 8 years in prison and life imprisonment.
