On Saturday, October 15, a ceremonial session of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Assembly was held at the Lower Silesian Philharmonic in Jelenia Góra to mark Lower Silesia Voivodeship Day. Marshal Cezary Przybylski took part in it.

During the Assembly session, the title of Honorary Citizen of Lower Silesia (Civi Honorario) was awarded to professors: Jan Miodek and Krzysztof Szwagrzyk. Meanwhile, Bogdan Fiałkowski, deputy head of the Association of Former Soldiers of the 62nd Special Commando Company, received an award for social work benefiting young people. When accepting it, he said that he would not be there if it were not for the Association's nearly 300 members.

“Nobody is employed here; we all do this on a nonprofit basis,” says the Bolesławiec resident honored by the marshal to “ii.” “We have just finished the third tournament for young people from uniformed-service classes, in which nearly 800 students from across Poland and one class from Ukraine took part. We also organized competitions for teachers of uniformed-service classes. We have been intensively training young people for 15 years, and the Marshal's Office noticed it.”

Congratulations!
