– You were at the last session and saw how the PSL caucus was dismantled – says “ii” Bolesławiec deputy county head Marian Haniszewski, head of the county structures of the Polish People's Party. – No coalition agreement was signed with the independent councillors' caucus. It was signed by the heads of the PO, PSL and SLD parties.
On Wednesday, 5 October, the chairman of the Bolesławiec County Council, Karol Stasik, received a letter from the only PSL councillors currently serving on the body: Ewa Sondaj and Ewa Suchecka. The women wrote that, in connection with Ryszard Kawka, Zbigniew Mitera and Michał Bojanowski leaving the farmers' party caucus, they were withdrawing from the coalition. – I will not hide it: we are considering creating a different coalition structure – stresses M. Haniszewski. – I do not know whether with PO or without it. The situation in the County is unhealthy. This benefits neither the working atmosphere nor discipline among employees. I have to work; I was left alone, and I work alone. I am not complaining, but I have a great many duties.
The deputy county head stresses that he would like to maintain the coalition with Civic Platform. Such an alliance is possible: PSL–Local Government Platform–Bolesławiec Land. What about SLD? – Most councillors on the County Council oppose the position of full-time member of the Board [piastuje je Stanisław Chwojnicki, szef powiatowych struktur Sojuszu Lewicy Demokratycznej – przyp. „ii”] – says Deputy County Head Haniszewski. – If SLD wanted to join the coalition without that position, I would support it.
The entire situation is expected to be clarified within the next week. It is already known, however, that the head of Bolesławiec Land, Jan Cołokidzi, is unlikely to become deputy county head. – We are considering those who are councillors – adds Marian Haniszewski.
We will certainly return to this subject.
