Police officers from Kowary detained a 36-year-old resident of Mysłakowice municipality suspected of possessing drugs. The detention took place on September 30, at around 9:20 p.m., in Ścięgny. On the roadside, the officers noticed a Renault vehicle parked in a way that posed a threat to road safety. A 36-year-old driver and a 22-year-old passenger were sitting in the car. They were very nervous.
It turned out that the reason for such behavior was drugs hidden in the car. In the armrest, the officers found amphetamine that could be divided into nearly 200 retail portions, as well as scales and other equipment used for packaging drugs.
The 36-year-old stated that the amphetamine belonged to him. He was taken into police custody. He could face up to three years in prison. Officers are currently checking where the narcotics came from and whether the detainee had been dealing them.
