As a Reader informed us, a hole was left at the stadium on Rajska Street after an industrial-acid barrel was dug up. “I was at training on Rajska, and this is what I saw: remnants of the fire service tape and a hole left by the barrel,” wrote a resident of Bolesławiec. “Nobody dealt with it. And our children train there.
Zbigniew Kowalczyk, director of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Bolesławiec, assured us that the hole would be filled in.

The van was parked near Gospoda Kruszyna. The inn’s guests and residents of nearby houses were evacuated. However, the entire operation involving the faulty barrel had begun four days earlier: it was dug up at the stadium on Rajska Street.
