Officers from the Prevention Division of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica detained a 33-year-old man who tried to flee when he saw them. The police seized 78 ecstasy tablets, a bag of methamphetamine that could have been used to make 450 doses of the drug, and 3 portions of marijuana.
The court ordered the 33-year-old to be remanded in custody. The man had previously been convicted of drug-related offenses. He was released at the beginning of August from the remand center where he had been placed in June this year in connection with a case being handled by officers from the Police Station in Chojnów. He now faces up to 12 years behind bars.
