The incident occurred on August 31. Police officers from Bogatynia received a report of robbery theft at one of the stores. As they established, the perpetrator concealed electronic equipment in his clothing and wanted to leave the store. He was noticed by store employees, who tried to prevent him from leaving the premises. The thief became aggressive, pushed and scratched a female employee, and then fled with the stolen items. He caused losses valued at more than PLN 200.
A short while later, police officers from Bogatynia detained the suspect in the robbery theft. He turned out to be a 31-year-old resident of Bogatynia. The man was taken into police custody. He may face up to 10 years in prison.
