Police officers from the Criminal Department of Police Station I in Jelenia Góra detained a 24-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra County suspected of attempted and completed burglaries of cars, apartments, a commercial pavilion, garages and utility rooms in Jelenia Góra. Their findings showed that in July and August this year, the man broke into and robbed nine cars. His loot included car radios, documents, wallets containing money, apartment keys, bags and sports shoes, car speakers, batteries and other small items.
In addition, the man broke into several apartments, a commercial pavilion, garages and utility rooms, from which he stole set-top boxes, a portable television, laptops, a wall clock, women’s and men’s footwear, chainsaws, brushcutters, carpentry and construction tools, drills, pressure washers and other items. Officers recovered some of the stolen property, worth more than PLN 8,500. The perpetrator confessed. It cannot be ruled out that he has committed more crimes of this type. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
