Police officers from the department handling property crimes identified the perpetrator of three thefts that took place in grocery stores in Legnica. The 23-year-old man from Legnica was extremely brazen: he entered the stores pretending to be a customer. He then took advantage of the cashiers’ inattention and stole money. In this way, he robbed two stores of nearly PLN 3,000. At the third, he settled for a several-litre bottle of alcohol worth PLN 520.

The man was arrested. He faces up to five years in prison for the brazen thefts from grocery stores.
