Police officers from Szklarska Poręba detained a 63-year-old resident of the town suspected of offering a financial benefit to officers. The incident occurred on June 24. At around 11 p.m., police officers from Szklarska Poręba (someone reported that a drunk security guard was guarding the property).

The officers found the man near the guarded property, in a caravan. He turned out to be a 63-year-old resident of Szklarska Poręba, who confirmed that he was a security guard and was at work. The smell of alcohol was clearly detectable on the man. A test showed 2 per mille.

The police officers offered the man a fine. However, he stated that the matter could be settled another way and wanted to give the uniformed officers… money for lunch. The result? The 63-year-old was taken into police custody. He could face up to 2 years in prison.
