On June 9, 1984, Marian Woronin set the European record in the 100 m race in Warsaw (9.99 s). Although for various reasons it was later rounded up to 10.00 s, today the 10-second mark is merely a dream for many sprinters.

“On this occasion, at the stadiums hosting the BiegamBoLubię campaign, everyone interested will be able to take on this classic distance and test their speed,” says coach Dariusz Łomański. “We invite everyone interested to a joint warm-up, followed by the races.”

“All participants will receive a commemorative diploma, while the best competitors in the women’s and men’s categories will receive commemorative T-shirts,” adds coach Damian Śliwiński.

The organizers invite everyone this Sunday (June 12) at 9:30 a.m. to the stadium on Komuny Paryskiej Street.
