This year, the main runs took place on September 14 at twelve stadiums across Poland. Once again, the organizers of the BiegamBoLubię campaign have the opportunity to join this noble initiative. Bolesławiec will take part for the third time.
– The run involves five-person relay teams completing as many 400-meter laps as possible within 60 minutes. Each lap is converted into money, which this year will go to children from care and education facilities – says BBL coach Damian Kula.
– The number of changes is unlimited, but the runner taking a turn must complete at least 400 meters. We invite everyone who wants to help. People who do not have relay partners are also very welcome. We will form such five-person teams on site – adds coach Dariusz Łomański.
In Bolesławiec, the run will take place on Sunday, September 29 at the athletics Orlik facility on Komuny Paryskiej Street. It begins at 11:00 a.m..
After the run and after counting the kilometers completed, the organizers will send documentation summarizing the event. Based on it, PKO Bank will donate money to children in need from care and education centers. The more teams there are, the greater the assistance will be.
