According to the mother, the ambulance service she had notified about the incident might take an hour to arrive. Considering the threat to the child’s life and health, the duty officer decided to transport the baby and the mother to hospital in a police car, using its emergency signals.
– Our policewoman was constantly watching over the child’s safety – say the Legnica officers.
The boy was taken to the children’s ward of the Legnica hospital, and his life and health are no longer in danger.
