In mid-January, a shocking attack on a defenseless dog took place in Bolesławiec. For unknown reasons, the man approached the animal. He lifted it and brutally threw it onto the ground.
– The convicted man will pay, among other things, PLN 4,900 to the owner of the injured dog. In addition to this amount and the conviction, the following penalties were also imposed:
a PLN 1,500 fine, PLN 350 to compensate for the damage, and PLN 500 for an animal-protection cause – says Arkadiusz Krzemiński, who represented the dog’s owner.
