Lubin police received a report concerning the theft of a backhoe loader. Its value was estimated at over PLN 180,000. The case was taken up by officers from the Police Station in Rudna.

For many hours, officers checked every lead they received concerning the theft. They successively searched places where it might have been hidden. Its owner also took part in the search. Together with him, the police began combing the forested areas. It was there that the owner found it.

The officers set a trap for the thieves. Unaware of anything, they came to collect their loot the following day. They were arrested and taken into police custody.

Now, a 20-year-old resident of Polkowice and a 28-year-old resident of Głogów will face charges of burglary. They face up to 10 years in prison.
