Two burglars, aged 31 and 34, were apprehended by officers from Police Station II in Jelenia Góra. The detention took place on May 18 at around 7:45 p.m. The officers received a report of a suspected break-in at one of the residential premises. When they arrived at the scene, they saw two men attempting to carry out a washing machine.
Taking advantage of the apartment owner's absence, the perpetrators smashed the panes in the balcony door with a hammer and got inside. They were caught red-handed.
The suspects were taken into police custody. They could face up to 10 years in prison.
