Officers from the department for combating hooligan-related crime of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław detained a man suspected of possessing large quantities of marijuana.
The incident took place at a petrol station in Jawor County. Police stopped a Renault belonging to a supporter of one of Legnica’s football teams. During a search of the car, driven by a 22-year-old resident of Legnica, officers found large quantities of marijuana—nearly 6,000 portions of the drug ready for sale.
By court decision, the 22-year-old was temporarily detained for two months. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
