The ceremonial handover of the equipment took place on 21 April at the Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality Office. Mayor Mirosław Haniszewski handed over the computer equipment to the county police commander in Bolesławiec, Insp. Henryk Stefanka, and the head of the station in Warta Bolesławiecka, Senior Asp. Krzysztof Cechner.
The mayor stressed that the equipment and financing of additional services are not only support for officers, but also an investment in residents’ safety. The computer equipment will improve the work of the uniformed officers, while additional services in the Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality will intensify preventive measures.
For many years, local government officials from Warta Bolesławiecka have supported the local police. They provide the officers at the station with computer equipment and official vehicles.
