This group of road users, unlike car drivers and passengers, has no technical protection whatsoever. Unfortunately, as police statistics show, not everyone follows the applicable rules.
During the operation, officers identified 31 offences committed by motor vehicle drivers. These included, among other things, improperly crossing pedestrian crossings and failing to yield to pedestrians.
Pedestrians committed a total of 38 offences. The largest group consisted of offences involving crossing the roadway in unauthorised places and failing to obey traffic lights.
